Managing Cards​


How can I activate my cards?
You can follow these steps to activate your card:

  • ​Go to 'Manage your cards' under My Tools 
  • Click 'Activate' for the card you wish to activate
  • Enter your card's last 4 digit and expiration date 
  • Enter the One Time Password sent to your mobile to confirm your request
 
How can I block my cards?
You can block your card by following these steps:
  • Go to 'Manage your cards' under My Tools 
  • Click 'Block' for the card you wish to block
  • Select the type of block (Permanent or Temporary)
  • Enter the purpose of your blocking request
  • Click Next to confirm your request
 
How can I replace my cards?
Follow these simple steps:
  • Go to 'Manage your cards' under My Tools 
  • Click 'Replace' for the card you wish to replace
  • Select the delivery details
  • Enter the One Time Password sent to your mobile to confirm your request

How can I request a new PIN for my cards?
Follow these simple steps to request a new PIN:
  • Go to 'Manage your cards' under My Tools 
  • Click 'Reissue PIN' for the card
  • Select the delivery details
  • Enter the One Time Password sent to your mobile to confirm your request

I'm traveling soon and will need to use my card while I'm out of Qatar. What should I do?
If you are traveling and you want to use you card while abroad, you need to make sure that you authorise your overseas transactions by following these steps:
  • ​Go to 'Manage your cards' under My Tools 
  • Click 'Overseas card usage' for the card you wish to authorise
  • Choose the dates 
  • Enter the One Time Password sent to your mobile to confirm your request

I need to shop online using my Commercial Bank cards, do I have to activate my card for online shopping?

Yes, as part of the new international requirements, we will be sending you a One Time Password with every payment you wish to make online. Simply use the authorisation code send to your registered mobile to approve the transaction. If you need to confirm which number is linked to your card and/or if you want to update the number, follow these steps:
  • ​Go to 'Manage your cards' under My Tools
  • We will display the mobile number which is linked to each of your cards. Click 'Online card usage' for the card you wish to update
  • Enter the new mobile number which should be linked to the card
  • Enter the One Time Password sent to your mobile to confirm your request
