• All Commercial Bank customers that wish to pay salaries for their sponsored household, farm staff and domestic workers, such as nannies, drivers, cooks and cleaners, can apply for this service, from the comfort and safety of their homes, using the CB Mobile App.

• It offers essential banking services such as cash withdrawal from ATMs, payments at POS machines using the card linked to their payroll account, and online international money transfer through a dedicated multilingual PayCard Mobile App.

The service is available on the Commercial Bank’s Mobile Banking App under the tab “Transfer”>> “Household Paycard”. The employer can fill the details of the household worker and submit the following documents by scanning:

• Valid QID of household worker
• Valid Passport of household worker

The employer can issue up to 10 PayCards under his/her personal account.

Note: An employer can only issue cards to employees under his/her sponsorship.

The employer will receive an email once the PayCard is already created. Additionally, there is an option “View PayCard Status” in the app that will tell the employer the exact status of the PayCard requested.
The employee will also get an SMS when the card is created.

There are two delivery options for the PayCard which is prompted upon request to create the PayCard:

• Through the employer’s registered P.O. Box
• Through courier at an additional cost
• *Please note, delivery is through Qatar Post and delivery dates are subject to variation according to demand
  
Once the household worker receives the card and PIN, he/she should sign on the form to confirm receipt. Subsequently, the employer should arrange to return this signed form back to Al Messila Branch Or Bin Omran Branch. Failure to do so within 15 working days may lead to the cards getting blocked.

The employer can transfer the household worker’s salary or any other amounts up to QAR 4,000 per month to the CB Household Worker PayCard. The household worker will receive the amount into his PayCard and can decide his next actions either to transfer internationally, or use the card for POS transactions or withdraw cash from the ATMs.

Online transfers into the PayCard will be saved for further review and the employer can access them anytime they wish to do so.

The limits are a total of QAR 4,000 per month as salary inputs. For the PayCard holder the maximum amount they can spend or withdraw in a month is QAR 10,000.

The householder worker should inform the employer. The employer can stop the PayCard by calling us on 44490000, or our Sadara dedicated line 44495555 and our team will act on the request.

The fees associated with the CB Household Worker PayCard are as follows:

• Issuing fee per PayCard Nil*
• Monthly card management fee Nil*
• Note: *subject to change

The PayCard holder will need to download the CBQ Mobile App from the Google playstore or Apple store and once registered for Mobile Banking, they can enter their beneficiaries to whom they wish to send money to.
The countries where they can remit to their bank accounts in a secure and fast manner using their mobile app are India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Philippines. For Nepal, Phillipines and Bangladesh, we offer cash services in addition to account transfers.

The employer can remit the money internationally on behalf of the household worker. There is an option to create a beneficiary, once a PayCard is setup, to be linked to the PayCard and remit money on behalf of the household worker.

If the employer/employee relationship is terminated, the employer can stop the PayCard by:

• The PayCard will remain active with the employee for the next 90 days.
