As
part of attempts to control the transmission of COVID19, we have been operating
restricted services and opening hours of our branches. This is to protect our
customers and staff, in accordance with government guidelines.
There are a range of measures we are
advising, in order to help us all through these challenging times.
Access
to branches
· Effective April 19, 2020, access to a branch is now limited to one visit
a week, per customer. We appreciate if you manage your cash and cheque
banking requirements accordingly and be mindful that avoiding Sunday banking
will help you avoid overcrowding, as this tends to be our busiest day of the
week.
· We have allocated the
following branches specifically for SME business customer transactions, these
are the only two branches you may access in your weekly visit.
· Umm Lukhba Branch
·
Al Wakrah
Avenue-Corporate Branch
Cash Deposit and Cash Withdrawals
· Cash deposits for amounts less than
QR100,000 will not be accepted in branches and we ask you to use Deposit Direct
Cards and deposit the cash through the ATMs.
· Cash withdrawals for amounts of less than QR10,000 will also not be accepted
within branches, please use your Debit card for withdrawal from ATMs.
Depositing Cheques
· Third-party
cash cheques will no longer be accepted at any of our branches. Cheque encashments by companies are
still as part of your once per week branch visit. Online banking is available
for fund transfers to third-parties.
Visit
branches only if you really need to. We have a wide range of digital services available that
can handle most of your transaction requirements. http://www.cbq.qa/EN/Wholesale/Ways-to-bank
Services available through our digital banking
channels will no longer be permitted through our branch network.
