How can I register for Telephone Banking and receive my TPIN?

Upon first time registration, IVR will automatically recognize and prompt you to answer two securityquestions related to your account or credit cards then send you a one-time password (OTP) to your registered mobile. IVR will then allow you to set a 5 digit Telephone Banking pin of your choice.


Do I need to identify and authenticate myself every time I call Commercial Bank?

Unlike any other service, IVR has an exclusive caller identification feature that happens automatically when you call from a registered mobile number. However, your TPIN is required to gain access to your account information.


What is the benefit of TPIN other than the IVR services?

TPIN allows you to authenticate your account and when you speak to a customer service representative, your TPIN authentication will allow you to avoid the security questions asked by our representatives.


If I call from overseas, will I be able to speak to a customer service representative immediately?

We understand that your international calls are a priority. IVR has a unique queue prioritization feature that allows your overseas calls to be handled with additional priority by the first available customer service representative.


Is activation of cards through IVR fast?

IVR has intelligent sense technology that proactively identifies and prompts you to activate your Credit / Debit card that is pending activation. All you need to do is to call from your registered mobile number and enter the last 4 digits of your card to activate.


How can I retrieve my TPIN if I forgot it?

No Worries. When IVR prompts you for your TPIN, Select Option 1 to reset your Telephone Banking PIN then answer the two security questions. Upon successful answer, IVR will allow you to set your new Telephone Banking PIN.


What is the maximum amount that I can pay for my credit card through IVR?

IVR does not have a maximum amount restriction. You can pay your credit cards with the available amount in your accounts.


How long will it take to avail the funds when I make a credit card payment through IVR?

Credit card payments made through IVR update instantly and allows you access to the funds on your credit cards.
