Generate your PIN


Now you can generate your PIN of your choice for your Debit Card / Credit Card, quickly and easily. Choose from any of the following channels to generate your Debit Card / Credit Card PIN.

•    Online Banking
•    Mobile banking
•    ATM
•    Telephone Banking


Online Banking

To generate PIN through online banking, the selected Debit Card / Credit Card should be active.

1.    Login to Internet Banking
2.    Click on "My Tools" in the main menu
3.    Select "Manage Cards" from the drop down list



4. Select the Debit Card / Credit Card you would like to generate PIN from Debit Card / Credit Card list Summary respectively.
      
    4.1. Click on the "Select" icon in the Services column and select "Create PIN"


5. When the “Create PIN” screen appears, select the reason for PIN creation and enter the expiry date and CARD CVV number* and then click "Authorise request".
6. Enter the Authorisation code sent to your registered mobile number in the “Authorisation” screen displayed.
7. Create a four digit PIN of your choice and confirm

Mobile Banking

To generate PIN through Mobile Banking, the selected Debit Card / Credit Card should be active.

1.    Login to Mobile  Banking
2.    From the home screen, click on the "Services" icon in the main menu.



3.    To generate PIN for active Debit Card / Credit  Card  select  “Debit Card Services”  /  "Credit Card Services" respectively from the Services list.



4.    Select active Debit Card / Credit Card for which you wish to generate PIN.  Click on “Create PIN” option 



5.    Select the reason for PIN creation



6.    Enter the Card expiry date and CARD CVV number and then click "Authorise".
7.    An OTP (One Time PIN) will be sent to your registered mobile number, enter the OTP number received
8.    Create a four digit PIN of your choice and confirm

ATM

Insert your Debit Card  / Credit Card at the Commercial bank ATM

1.    On the language selection screen, choose “Reset / Generate new Pin” at the bottom-left corner of the ATM screen.



2.    Enter your QID number or Account number



3.    Enter your registered mobile number



4.    An OTP (One Time PIN) will be sent to your registered mobile number, enter the OTP number received



5.    Set a four digit  PIN of your choice



6.    Confirm  by re-entering the four digit PIN created



Telephone Banking

Call 4449 0000 with your Commercial Bank registered mobile number

1.    Press 1 for Arabic and 2 for English 
2.    Press 7 for PIN change option
3.    Press 1 for Credit Card / Press 2 for Debit Card
4.    You will be prompted to enter the last 4 digit  of your Credit Card / Debit Card followed by new Card pin number and confirm the new PIN. Once confirmed, pin change will be successful.

Note:

•    If your Debit Card  / Credit Card is not activated, your will be prompted to activate your Debit  Card / Credit Card first
•    If you are calling from  a telephone or mobile number that you have not registered with Commercial Bank then follow these steps:

   -    Press 1 for Arabic and 2 for English
   -     Please enter your Debit Card / Credit Card Number, your Account Number or Qatari ID Number.
   -    You will be prompted to enter your Telephone Banking PIN (TPIN).
   -    Upon successful validation of Telephone Banking PIN (TPIN), follow the steps listed above from (Step 2 – Step 4)
