Banking Without Barriers: Accessible ATMs for Persons with Disabilities
Commercial Bank has implemented enhanced features at selected ATMs to better serve persons with disabilities, in line with the accessibility guidelines issued by Qatar Central Bank (QCB).
What makes these ATMs more accessible?
- Braille PIN pads to support customers who are visually impaired or have low vision.
- A zoom-in screen option to enhance on-screen visibility.
- Audio assistance in Arabic and English via an auxiliary jack.
Please note that customers are encouraged to bring their own headphones to use the audio feature.
How to locate Special Needs ATMs?
To locate them, follow these steps:
- Visit www.cbq.qa
- Click on ATMs in the upper right side
- Click on “Filter by Location Type”
- Choose “Special Needs ATM”
- From there, you will find a list of Special Needs ATMs across different locations.
