Transfer Smarter and Safer with Beneficiary Name Confirmation

Commercial Bank is introducing a new layer of protection for your transfers – Beneficiary Name Confirmation for local and CB-to-CB QAR fund transfers.

Now, whenever you initiate a transfer via Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) or CB Corporate App, you will be able to confirm the recipient’s registered name before finalising your payment.

Transfers to other banks will use the Fawran service to display the beneficiary’s name. If the beneficiary’s bank is not yet linked to Fawran, you will need to enter the name manually.

 

This feature ensures:

  • Transparency – Verifies the recipient before completing your transfer.
  • Security – Minimises the risk of fraud or misdirected payments.

 

Get started in 3 easy steps:

  1. Enter the beneficiary’s IBAN on CIB or Corporate Mobile.
  2. The system will automatically display the registered beneficiary name.
  3. Confirm the details to complete your transfer.

 

Note: This service is currently available for single QAR transfers only.
